Since Romans 6:9 says Christ cannot die again, Ahnsahnghong is not the Christ?

While attending the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG), I preach that I believe in the second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong.

People who don’t accept Ahnsahnghong as Christ claim that He cannot be the Christ since Romans 6:9 says that Christ cannot die again.

(Romans 6:9) For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

A great contradiction occurs if this means that the second coming Christ cannot die according to their insistence.

So, is this verse testifying about the first coming Jesus or His second coming?

Of course, it is about the first coming Jesus.

If we interpret this verse according to their insistence, the first coming Jesus must still be living in the flesh with us.

1. Is Jesus still with us in the flesh?

2. The Apostles who became one with Christ cannot die and must live until this present time.

3. The so-called Christians cannot die since they believe in Jesus.

4. The baptized Christians must first have experience death and must be the ones who already resurrected.

Since the beginning of Christianity, none of the Christians must have heard of a person who has never died, nor heard that a baptized person resurrected after his death. So basically their insistence is just another “logic” that they came up with to just slander our Father Ahnsahnghong.

If we read Romans Chapter 6 from verse one:

(Romans 6:1-9) “…We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. …”

If this “death” is the physical death that they are insisting, the Christians must all first experience physical death.

Romans Chapter 6 is not simply talking about the physical death. This kind of contradiction occurs when people try to rationalize their insistence.

The verses above is testifying that Jesus overcame the power of death by resurrection and returned to His own form, which is why He cannot die again.  So we also will receive eternal life through resurrection since we became one with Christ through baptism. What kind of life should we live? Should we live according to the sinful nature? Or should we live doing the gospel work? Let us give thanks to God who gave us the blessings of eternal life and work for the gospel by offering our physical lives to God.

In the times of Jesus’ first coming, those who denied Jesus claimed “How can Christ die?” even though Jesus testified about His death (John 12:30-33). So they slandered with (Psalms 89:48)Who can live and not see death, or who can escape the power of the grave?”

Contrary to their belief that Christ cannot die, the first coming Christ died (physically) and resurrected according to the prophecy. So, although the second coming Christ Ahnsahnghong died (physically) He always exists spiritually since He is God Almighty.
